C62300 Aluminum BronzeASTM B150, SAE J461 C62300 and C62400 aluminum bronze applications include valve and pump components for industrial process streams, as well as for marine equipment, high strength fasteners and pole line hardware. -
C31600 Nickel Leaded Commercial Bronze (CDA 316)CDA 316, ASTM B140 Nickel Bearing C31600 is composed of approximately 89% copper, 8% zinc, and 2% lead, but also contains 1% nickel. This alloy combines the natural corrosion resistance and machinability of C31400 with a higher tensile and yield strength resulting from the controlled addition of nickel. The relatively low zinc content provides excellent corrosion resistance in potable water along with a pleasing golden color that matches C22000 hardware. It also possesses a particular resistance to stress corrosion cracking. It is an alloy suitable for outdoor use where higher strength is required. -
C31400 Leaded Commercial Bronze (CDA 314)CDA 314, ASTM B140 Leaded Commercial Bronze C31400 combines the natural corrosion resistance of C22000 with the machinability typical of leaded brasses. Like C22000, it is an alpha brass nominally composed of 89% copper and 9% zinc, but it also contains approximately 2% lead to impart free-cutting characteristics. The relatively low zinc content of C31400 provides excellent corrosion resistance in potable water along with a pleasing golden color that matches C22000 hardware. Alloy C31400 is also suitable for outdoor use due to its resistance to stress corrosion cracking and to corrosion in general, but where the highest strength is not required. -
C26000 Cartridge Brass "70/30" (CDA 260)ASTM B36 (Bar, Sheet, and Plate), ASTM B135 (Tubing), SAE J461 EN equivalent for this alloy CuZn30 -
C23400 Red Brass Welding Filler Metal (CDA 234) -
C90300 Tin Bronze Lead-Free Modified Navy GASTM B505, SAE J462, SAE J461 JMH C90300 Lead Free Tin Bronze, also known as modified Navy G, is a high wear resistant that provides good mechanical properties and excellent corrosion resistance to dezincification. This proven alloy is used in wide applications and has a excellent rating for soldering and offers good brazing. Aviva Metals maintains a stock of hollow and solid bar of CDA 903 Tin Bronze. -
C836 / C83600 Leaded Red Brass AlloyC83600 Leaded Red Brass, also known as 85 metal, is the most common red brass containing 85% copper and 5% each of tin, lead and zinc. Typical uses for red brass involve electrical hardware, fixtures, pumps and more. Aviva Metals offers C83600 Leaded Red Brass, SAE 40 in a variety of shapes including bars, pipes and tubes. -
C36000 Free Cutting Brass / Free Machining BrassStandards: ASTM B16, SAE J461, SAE J463, SAE 72 AMS 4610, CW603N, DIN 2.0375 C36000 Free Cutting Brass / Free Machining Brass is ideally suited for high speed machining operations with its superior machinability, thread rolling and knurling characteristics. Its machinability rating of 100 is standard against which all other copper alloys are rated. It is easily soldered or brazed and has good resistance to corrosion.
