C65100 Low Silicon Bronze "B"ASTM B98 C65100 is an engineering alloy at least as resistant to corrosion as copper itself, but much stronger, and with good fatigue endurance. 651 Bronze is an alloy noted for its brazeability, strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical properties. C65100 is one of the most weldable copper alloys. It is readily joined by all types of resistance welding. Joining by soldering or brazing is excellent. Joining by gas shielded arc welding and spot welding is also excellent, and by oxyacetylene welding, good. C65100 finds its broadest use as rod and wire for cold headed and roll threaded bolts, wood screws and lag screws. C65100 wood screws and lag screws have unusually high strength and toughness, freedom from embrittlement, and a high degree of corrosion resistance to all types of water, saline fogs, and a wide variety of other corrosives. 651 Bronze hull and deck fastenings are the standard materials with yacht designers and the majority of builders of stock power boats. The alloy is also used for cable connectors, mast tangs, deck and pilot house hardware and equipment, welded fuel and water tanks for pleasure and commercial crafts. It is also one of the best copper alloys for pole line hardware. C65100 nails are also widely used in boat construction and for nailing slate, heavy tile, and other materials where strength and corrosion resistance are essential. -
C51000 CuSn5 Phosphor Bronze StripEn equivalent CuSn5 ASTM B139, QQ-B750, SAE J461 C51000 Phosphor Bronze alloy possess a higher yield strength than is readily available in most cast products. Typical applications for phosphor bronze include bearings, bushings, gears, pinions, shafts, thrust washers and valve parts. C51000 Phosphor bronze can be readily brazed or soldered. Capacity for being cold worked is good. -
